about us
Care that fits you
We’re small enough to know you, big enough to support you – and here when you need us most.
Choosing care for yourself or someone you love is a big decision. We understand how important it is to find a provider you can trust, feel comfortable with and rely on.
For more than 35 years, we have been supporting older people in Brisbane’s western and northern suburbs to continue living at home, with dignity, independence and choice. As a local, not-for-profit organisation and registered charity, we take the time to get to know each person — because good care is personal, and relationships matter.
We offer a range of flexible in-home care services, from everyday help and personalised care to social connection, assistive technology and guidance through the aged care system. Our caring, skilled staff are carefully chosen not just for their experience, but for their kindness, respect and genuine commitment to the people they support.
Founded through a University-led community caregiving initiative, Jubilee has grown with the community it serves — and remains guided by the same values today: people first, quality care and a deep connection to our community.
We’re small enough to know you, big enough to support you — and here when you need us most.

our success story
Established to provide in-home care and support for older people in our community
Jubilee Community Care was established in 1989 as a pilot project of The University of Queensland’s Social Work Department. The project aimed to provide care and support for older people living in Brisbane’s western and inner northern suburbs to enable them to remain at home and in their community.
Funded jointly by the Commonwealth and Queensland governments, the project was initially overseen by a steering committee under the auspices of the Aged Care Unit at the Red Hill Paddington Community Centre in Caxton Street, Petrie Terrace and later at 180 Jubilee Terrace, Bardon.
In 1996, Jubilee Community Care Association (as it was known then) became an incorporated body. By 2002, the organisation had established itself independently in an office building at Toowong before moving to its current premises at 87 Central Avenue, Indooroopilly, in January 2003.
Since 1989, Jubilee Community Care (as it is now known) has grown from three employees to the 80+ passionate and dedicated employees and volunteers who strive to enrich and make a real difference in the lives of older people living in our community today.
Jubilee Community Care is registered as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.
